Meet ACS Eagles Robotics
We’re a passionate school team building robots, gearing up for the upcoming First Robotics Competition. The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is a high-school level robotics program where students design, build, and program real, working robots to compete in a fun, game-like challenge while learning teamwork and engineering skills. Each year the challenge changes, and for the 2026 season the game is called REBUILT™ presented by Haas. In this challenge, teams use their STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) skills to build a robot that can score points by doing specific tasks on the field — like moving “fuel,” crossing obstacles, and climbing a tower — all within a set match time. The competition emphasizes creative problem-solving, planning, and teamwork, and it’s a great way for students to get hands-on experience with real engineering and design.

Our Journey
We are a school robotics team in our first year of competition, brought together by a shared passion for engineering, creativity, and teamwork. From brainstorming ideas to designing and building our robot, we collaborate to solve real-world challenges and turn concepts into reality. Throughout the season, we compete with determination, curiosity, and respect, always striving to learn, improve, and support other teams. Sportsmanship, collaboration, and innovation are at the core of everything we do—on and off the field.
